A plant that is sure to charm. Unusual appearance with bi-colour heart-shaped leaves growing on long, stiff stems. An ideal plant for hanging pots,. Water only when the soil is completely dry and avoid overwatering as this is the main reason it can dry out. In Winter the plant goes dormant and watering should be stopped. It prefers locations with bright light or even a little exposure to the sun.
Origin: Southeast Africa.
Care
Light: Prefers bright light and a few hours of morning or afternoon sun is conducive to color retention. Watering: Drought tolerant but for best results keep the soil slightly moist. Water sparingly in winter. Avoid overwatering. Temperature: Normal indoor temperatures between 18-24°C. Humidity: Will appreciate elevated humidity levels but is also content with normal house humidity conditions. Lubrication: Once a month in Summer with a dilute dose of fertilizer. Tip: If the shoots have grown too much, they can be pruned safely. Dimensions: Maximum height 10cm with hanging shoots reaching up to 2m. Fast growing. Toxicity: Pet friendly and safe for pets.
