Cultivar origin click to read

The Anthurium crystallinum is a species naturally found in the tropical South American canopy, centred on Colombia–Panama and neighbouring regions. It lives as an epiphyte or lithophyte in forests with high humidity and diffused light, anchoring its roots in organic material on branches or in rock crevices. Its distinctive velvety leaf blade with strong silver veins is an adaptation that increases light-use efficiency in low light while also creating a striking appearance. Cultivated lines available today come from selections made by collectors’ nurseries, clonally propagated for uniform size, heart shape and vein intensity. The species thus retains its natural elegance while becoming consistently photogenic indoors.

2) Watering: When the top 2–3 cm dry out; empty the saucer.
