Prefers bright positions but not direct sun exposure. Likes high humidity levels but should not be over-watered. Check if the soil is nearly dry and prefer to water frequently and with a small amount of water. If you notice drops of water on the edges of the leaves this means the atmosphere is too humid.
Maintenance instructions
Light: Ideally prefers bright locations but away from sun exposure where it will spoil the leaves. Watering: Keep the soil moist with water at room temperature. The soil should not be allowed to dry out. Small amounts of water and frequent watering is ideal. Temperature: Needs warm conditions, ideally 18-22°C. Humidity: Needs a humid environment with above moderate to moderate humidity. Spraying the leaves greatly improves the desired humidity levels. Fertilization: Once a month during the growing season. Tip: Alocasias have a resting period during which it is likely that some leaves will fall off. This is normal and these leaves will be replenished during the growing season. During this time watering should be reduced. Dimensions: Maximum height about 60 cm. Maximum height 60 cm. Origin: Southeast Asia.
