Variegated surfaces
Colour appears in zones rather than following an identical pattern on every leaf.

The legal guarantee concerns the plant’s conformity at delivery. It is not a guarantee of survival or growth for two years. Each issue is assessed taking into account the nature of the plant, its care and the conditions in which it is kept. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
Naturally blonde. Let’s not start 💛
Aeonium 'Kiwi Yellow' brings a luminous palette to its small rosettes: green brushstrokes, cream and yellowish areas, and delicate pink shading along the edges. Its fleshy leaves unfold in successive layers, resembling little flowers whose real attraction is their foliage.
As new growing tips develop, the plant gains a branching outline and greater depth. Unevenly distributed pale areas give each rosette its own expression: some look greener, others more golden, while all retain the same precise geometry.
Three details that reward a closer look.
Colour appears in zones rather than following an identical pattern on every leaf.
Outer leaves frame the more closely packed centre of each rosette.
Side shoots add new rosettes rather than retaining a single flat head.
Why you will love it: it has the colour of a little bouquet made entirely from leaves.
Choose a very bright windowsill or sheltered balcony, introducing gentle morning sun gradually. In summer, protect it from scorching afternoon sun, especially its pale leaf areas.
Arrange a small group in separate pots so each plant can be watered when it needs it.
Very bright conditions, with gradual exposure to gentle sun.
When the mix has dried well, water thoroughly and let it drain.
Protect from frost and extreme heat; reduce water during summer slowdown.
An ornamental plant, not food. Keep away from pets that chew leaves.
Morning sunshine helps maintain a compact outline. Increase exposure gradually and avoid moving a shaded plant straight into scorching sun.
Check deeper in the mix, not just its surface. Once dry, water until it runs through the holes, then empty the saucer.
Growth is often strongest in milder seasons. During intense heat the rosettes may tighten; extra water is not a way to force them open.
Keep in a bright, frost-free position. Cool or dark conditions slow drying, so allow longer between waterings.
Use a porous succulent mix and a pot with drainage holes. Repot only when necessary, into a slightly larger size while growth is active.
Use succulent fertiliser during active growth according to its label. The recommended mix supplies nutrition for about 180 days: do not add fertiliser immediately. Suspend feeding during rest.
Aeonium 'Kiwi Yellow' is a cultivated colour selection within the commercial Kiwi group, emphasising cream and yellowish areas.
The name Aeonium haworthii 'Kiwi' is used for the variegated group. Wild Aeonium haworthii is native to Tenerife.
The species grows on rocky slopes and cliffs. The Yellow colour selection belongs to cultivation and is not a separate wild population.
From natural habitat to care: The rocky sites of Aeonium haworthii, the reference species for the Kiwi group, help explain the need for air around the roots. In a pot this means a porous mix and complete drainage, without assuming that pale leaves tolerate the same sunlight as the wild green form.
Green and cream zones differ in chlorophyll content. Variegation is a property of the leaf, not a colour applied to its surface.
New leaves form at the shoot tip, while older leaves occupy the outer part of the rosette.
Natural loss of old leaves leaves scars on the stem, gradually revealing its branching structure.
In branching Aeonium, a flowering rosette completes its life cycle while other shoots can continue.
A few practical questions about its colours and seasonal rhythm.
No. Yellow describes the colour form, not an entirely yellow plant. Green and cream areas coexist.
Intensity varies with light, season and leaf age. Do not try to force colour by abrupt exposure to intense heat.
Not necessarily. Heat can slow growth and tighten the rosette. Check the mix before adding water.
Yes, beside a very bright window. A dark corner generally produces looser growth.
Some older leaves are shed naturally. Many soft leaves combined with wet compost call for a root and drainage check.
Flowering is not guaranteed. The rosettes and leaf pattern are its main ornamental attraction.
Every order is prepared with care so your plant arrives upright, secure and safe.
Individual protection
Plants in pots with a capacity of 3 litres or more are placed in individual boxes that hold the pot securely and reduce the risk of tipping over.
