GREENLEAF TERRARIUM TOOLS · GT181

Terrarium Scissors

Long scissors with curved blades for shoots and leaves inside a terrarium.

Length 25.3 cm
100% stainless steel
Curved blades

Pruning inside a deep glass arrangement requires visibility and calm movements. The GT181 brings the cut closer to where it is needed, allowing you to remove shoots and leaves without putting your whole hand into the arrangement.

The curved blades and 25.3 cm length help you approach leaves or shoots located deeper in the arrangement or between surrounding foliage. The tool is useful for maintaining shape, removing unwanted growth and opening up space inside the composition when ordinary scissors cannot reach safely.

WHY IT EARNS ITS PLACE

Trimming where ordinary scissors cannot reach

As foliage thickens inside the glass, the right cut requires both visibility and reach. The GT181 brings its curved blades closer to the selected point, helping maintain the shape of the arrangement without placing your whole hand between the plants.

The curved blades approach a target more easily between surrounding foliage.

The circular handles provide familiar, steady control for small cuts.

The extended length helps maintain the arrangement with less unnecessary plant movement.

Reach at depth

The long form reaches areas that are difficult to access.

Curved blades

They help guide the cut around surrounding foliage.

For detailed care

Designed for terrarium shoots and leaves, not heavy-duty pruning.

Controlled trimming in three stages

Before closing the blades, clearly see both the target and every plant part around it.

01Choose the target

Identify the shoot or leaf to remove and make sure another plant part is not hidden behind it.

02Guide the blades

Approach slowly with the blades closed and open them only when they reach the intended cutting point.

03Cut & remove

Make one controlled cut and remove the trimmed material with tweezers instead of leaving it on the substrate.

Use guide & product details

Use, technique and care in four clear sections that remain easy to scan.

What it is for

The GT181 is used to cut shoots and leaves during terrarium maintenance. Its curved blades help approach the intended cutting point.

Safe handling

Clearly identify the target before inserting the scissors. Make small, controlled cuts and keep the blades away from the glass and from plant parts you wish to retain.

Precision and proper care

Work gradually and prefer small cuts that preserve a clear view. The curved blades help approach a point between surrounding foliage, but they should not be used as a lever, on hard woody stems or for heavy pruning. Keep your wrist steady without placing weight on the rim of the glass. After trimming, remove plant residue, clean and thoroughly dry the blades, then store the scissors closed in a safe place.
