What is Orchid Focus Grow?

Targeted nutrition during new growth

Orchids are usually grown in very open media that hold limited quantities of nutrients. Orchid Focus Grow provides controlled, complete nutrition through watering, with a formula tailored to producing new leaves and shoots.

A complete formula specifically for orchids

Made from pure, soluble mineral salts and enriched with concentrated organic plant acids. Includes nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, calcium and selected trace elements, giving balanced nutrition during vegetative growth.

The concentrated liquid form allows accurate dosing and even distribution in the solution. At the recommended dose, the 100 ml pack makes up to 40 litres of ready-to-use nutrient solution.

What the formula offers

  • Nitrate nitrogen to support new leaves and shoots.
  • Potassium and calcium as part of balanced basic nutrition.
  • Chelated trace elements, including iron, manganese, copper and zinc.
  • Magnesium, sulphur and boron, together with humic and fulvic acids.
  • Urea-free, according to the product formulation.

Why it stands out

Precise nutrition for healthy leaves and new growth

Specialist Grow formula

Formulated for periods of vegetative growth, when the orchid produces new leaves and shoots and needs a steady supply of nutrients.

Pure nutrients

Made from pure mineral salts, contains chelated trace elements and no urea, which is unsuitable for sensitive orchid roots.

Concentrated & economical

Just 5 ml is needed in 2 litres of water. The small 100 ml pack therefore makes up to 40 litres of solution at the standard dosage.

How to use

Three simple steps for correct application

For suitable species at the appropriate growth stage, apply the solution every second watering throughout the year.

Measure the dose

Use 5 ml Orchid Focus Grow, approximately one teaspoon, for every 2 litres of water.

Dilute in lukewarm water

Mix well into lukewarm water. For best results, use soft water or rainwater.

Water and allow to drain

Wet the growing medium evenly and allow all excess solution to drain away. Do not leave the pot standing in water.

For Cymbidium

For Cymbidium, dissolve 20 ml in 2 litres of water. This higher dose applies only to Cymbidium; for other orchids, use 5 ml in 2 litres and always follow the pack label.

Grow or Bloom?

The right choice depends on the species and stage

Orchid Focus Grow and Orchid Focus Bloom are not two strengths of the same fertiliser. They are targeted formulas for different needs. For Phalaenopsis, use Grow after flowering as new leaves and roots appear, then switch to Bloom as soon as a new flower spike forms. The same alternation follows the growth and flowering cycle of other orchids.

  • Grow: new leaves and roots in Phalaenopsis, and vegetative growth in Cymbidium, Dendrobium, Odontoglossum, Cambria, Brassia, Miltonia and other species.
  • Bloom: from the appearance of a flower spike or buds and throughout flowering.
  • Application: every second watering, at the correct dilution.
  • Orchid Myst: optional supplementary care by spraying 2–3 times a week.
