Promitheas combines the dense, dark-green appearance of tall fescue with a distinguishing feature: one cultivar in the blend is rhizomatous. Its underground stems support lateral spread and gradual repair of small gaps, making this an advanced option for intensively used landscapes.
It is the only Festuca turf on the Greek market with rhizomes.

02Preparation & installation+
Remove weeds and stones, improve drainage, refine and level the soil. Start from a straight edge, lay rolls without overlaps or gaps and avoid small pieces at the perimeter. Roll or press lightly, then irrigate until the soil beneath the turf is thoroughly moist.
03First days & maintenance+
Keep both turf and underlying soil consistently moist until rooting, without waterlogging. Restrict traffic and make the first cut only when the turf no longer lifts easily. Mowing target: 4–6 cm · about 3 cuts/month during active growth.
