GRANULAR ORGANIC FERTILISER FOR THE SOIL

Biosol® 1 kg

If you want a fertiliser that cares for the soil as well as the plant, Biosol® is an excellent choice. Its organically bound nitrogen is made available gradually through soil life, while the high organic-matter content contributes to more humus, better structure and more effective water retention. The granules are easy to apply in vegetable gardens, beds, lawns and pots, providing lasting nutrition and helping the soil work better.

Gradual nutrition with meaningful benefits for the soil

Biosol® is made from organic fungal biomass. Most of its nutrients are bound within the organic matter and released through the activity of soil organisms, instead of being supplied all at once with the first watering.

High organic-matter content

A formula centred on organic nitrogen and soil improvement, rather than simply providing a rapid dose of NPK.

  • Organic nitrogen 6–8%: feeds plants gradually as it is made available by soil life.
  • Water-soluble nitrogen up to 0.5%: most of the nitrogen is not present in an immediately soluble form.
  • Phosphorus and potassium: contains 0.5% P₂O₅ and 0.3% K₂O for supplementary base nutrition.
  • Fungal biomass: provides organic material that supports humus and soil activity.
01

Nutrition released gradually

The organically bound nitrogen is made available through soil microorganisms, providing a steadier supply than an immediately soluble fertiliser.

02

Better soil quality

The high organic-matter content contributes to humus formation, a more stable soil structure and improved water retention and movement.

03

Support for soil life

It supports the activity of soil organisms and encourages the development of mycorrhizal fungi that work together with plant roots.

When and where to use it

From the vegetable garden to the plant pot

It is particularly useful when you want organic nutrition with an emphasis on nitrogen while also improving soil that is poor, tired or low in organic matter.

01

Hungry vegetables

For tomatoes, peppers, potatoes, cucurbits and brassicas that need more nitrogen nutrition.

02

Flowers & herbs

For salads, herbs, flowering plants and ornamentals with lower feeding requirements.

03

Fruiting plants & lawns

For fruit, berries, vines and lawns, distributed evenly over the soil.

04

Pots & planters

For mixing into the growing medium when preparing or refreshing it.

How much to use — according to the plant's needs

There is no need for agricultural units or complicated calculations. Weigh the correct amount for the surface area or volume of growing medium, distribute it evenly and water after application.

  • High requirements: 150–200 g/m²
  • Lower requirements: 80–120 g/m²
  • Pots: 4–6 g/L of growing medium
  • Poor soil: +50 g/m²
  • Water afterwards: yes
01Tomatoes and hungry vegetables

Before planting, use 150–200 g per square metre and work the granules lightly into the upper layer of soil.

02Flowers, herbs and salads

For plants with lower requirements, use 80–120 g per square metre, starting at the lower rate.

03Pots and planters

When preparing or refreshing the growing medium, mix 4–6 g of product into each 1 litre of growing medium and distribute it thoroughly throughout.

04Supplementary application

In poor or tired soil, you can add 50 g/m² after approximately 10 weeks. Spread over the surface, work in lightly and water.

Do not add it to water or apply it over the plant

Biosol® is a granular soil fertiliser: do not dissolve it for root watering and do not spray it onto the leaves. Do not leave concentrated granules touching stems, the plant crown or young plants directly.

One kilogram for up to 12.5 m² of soil

Actual coverage depends on the plants' requirements. At the lower rate, the pack covers up to 12.5 m², while at the maximum rate for hungry plants it covers 5 m².

80 g/m²12.5 m²lower rate
120 g/m²≈ 8.3 m²per application
150 g/m²≈ 6.7 m²per application
200 g/m²5 m²maximum rate

Calculation basis: 1,000 g of product. For mixing into pots, 1 kg corresponds to approximately 167–250 L of growing medium at a rate of 4–6 g/L.

Pack, form & storage

1 kg for convenient home use

A practical quantity for the vegetable garden, beds, lawns, pots and refreshing old growing medium, without needing a large professional pack.

2–4 mm granules

They are easy to distribute and are applied directly to the soil. Light incorporation and watering help begin the gradual availability of nutrients.

Storage

Keep the pack tightly closed and dry, protected from moisture. Avoid creating dust during use and wash your hands when finished.

Frequently asked questions

Straightforward answers on dosage, pots, release time and correct application.

01What is Biosol® and why should I choose it?

It is a granular slow-release organic fertiliser made from fungal biomass. It primarily provides organic nitrogen that becomes available gradually and, thanks to its high organic-matter content, also supports humus, soil structure and soil life.

02How much should I use for tomatoes and other hungry vegetables?

Use 150–200 g per square metre before planting and work the granules lightly into the soil. In poor or tired soil, you can add 50 g/m² after approximately 10 weeks.

03What is the dose for flowers, herbs and pots?

For flowers, herbs, salads and other plants with lower requirements, use 80–120 g/m². For pots or planters, when preparing or refreshing the growing medium, mix 4–6 g into each 1 litre of growing medium.

04How do I apply it to plants that are already established?

Distribute the correct amount evenly around the plant without allowing the granules to touch the stem or plant crown. Work it very lightly into the upper layer of soil where practical and water thoroughly.

05Does it act immediately or gradually?

It acts gradually. Most of the nutrients are bound within the organic matter and become available through soil organisms. It therefore does not act like an immediately soluble fertiliser and should not be dissolved in water.

06How should it be stored?

Keep the pack tightly closed in a dry place and protected from moisture. Avoid creating dust during application and wash your hands when finished.
