Nora taupe

A handmade terracotta plant pot in a warm taupe shade, with a soft matt appearance and a fine natural texture subtly reminiscent of leather. The clean rounded form lets the surface take centre stage, while the calm earthy tone beautifully frames trailing, airy or variegated foliage.

Natural texture

Matt taupe with a warm, tactile character

The Nora’s surface softly absorbs the light and reveals subtle variations in the handmade terracotta. The result is neutral but never flat, with enough depth to combine easily with wood, fabric and natural stone.

The Nora identity

Leather-like textureThe fine natural surface gives the taupe shade greater depth and character.
Warm neutral shadeTaupe provides a calm base for green, cream or pink-toned foliage.
Handmade terracottaPortuguese craftsmanship makes every piece slightly different.

Plant pairings Pairs particularly well with Hoya wayetii ‘Tricolor’ and Asparagus setaceus: the Hoya’s warm cream-pink shades and the Asparagus’s airy green foliage create two very different yet equally gentle combinations, as do other plants available in Ø12–13 cm nursery pots.

Where it looks best On a shelf, console table, wide windowsill or side table, alongside light or smoked wood, linen textures, ecru surfaces and black details.

Clean it with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth.
Avoid abrasive sponges and harsh chemical cleaners.
On wood or another sensitive surface, place a protective layer underneath.

Frequently asked questions

What nursery-pot size fits inside the Nora?

It is suitable for a plant in a Ø12–13 cm nursery pot. Measure the nursery pot’s external diameter at the top rim before placing it inside.

Can I plant directly in the decorative pot?

For safe drainage and to protect the decorative pot, keep the plant in its own nursery pot and remove it when watering.

Is it suitable for outdoor use?

It is designed for indoor use. Avoid exposure to rain, frost and prolonged intense sunlight.

Why is the Nora called 14 cm when its maximum diameter is 16 cm?

The 14 cm value is the name of this specific variant in the e-shop. The curved body has external dimensions of H15 × Ø16 cm. When choosing a plant, use the compatible Ø12–13 cm nursery-pot size as your guide.
