Διασταύρωση των Agave και Manfreda,  οδήγησε σε φυτά με την ανθεκτικότητα και το αρχιτεκτονικό σχήμα της Agave και τη γρήγορη ανάπτυξη, τους μοναδικούς χρωματισμούς και τα μαλακά αγκάθια της Manfreda.

Ανθεκτική μέχρι -5 ºC μπορεί να τοποθετηθεί τόσο σε εσωτερικούς όσο και σε εξωτερικούς χώρους. Γρήγορης ανάπτυξης, ιδανική για συνθέσεις με άλλα παχύφυτα καθώς και για διακοσμητικές γλάστρες.

Την περίοδο ανάπτυξης χρειάζεται τακτικό πότισμα ενώ το πότισμα θα πρέπει να σταματά σχεδόν τελείως τους χειμερινούς μήνες.

Όταν το φυτό φτάσει το επιθυμητό μέγεθος, μειωμένο πότισμα περιορίζει τη περαιτέρω ανάπτυξη του φυτού.

 A revolution in plant breeding!

The Mad about Mangave® series offers varieties that have interesting forms and colours.

This succulent is named after the famous novelty song, but it's not about to eat anybody! Rather, the extremely purple coloration is where it gets its name from.

A neat rosette of thick, sturdy leaves that are blue-green with reddish-purple spotting. However, while walking by, the color will look purple.

Bring out its best coloration in full sun; less intense exposure will produce greener leaves. Margins fold upward to show off its yellow, orange, and cinnamon brown spines. At the end of each leaf, there is a cinnamon terminal spine.

The varieties of Mad about Mangave® are fast growers. If they reach the desired size, water sparingly. Mangave loves a spot in full sun; this is where the colours and distinctive spots show best. The Mad about Mangave® are beautiful as a specimen in a pot or container but also perfect for a mixed container with other succulents.

'Blazing Saddles' grows up to 20 cm high and 35 cm wide and is an incredibly cool-looking addition to the Mad about Mangave® family with its No matter how this Mangave® presents itself - it is the ultimate cool-looking indoor-outdoor plant.

This is certainly destined to be a star in any landscape! Green leaves are heavily spotted with clear red coloring. The leaves are so heavily spotted that the leaves appear to have solid red bands with green margins. A relatively low profile to the compact habit makes this plant perfect for framing containers.
