One special variety with twisted leaves that change colour throughout the year. In autumn the leaves are red and in early Winter the leaves turn purple and stay that colour all Winter.
A compact variety with a very high ornamental value!
The genus name of the plant honours Leucothoea, one of the many loves of the god Apollo.
Suitable for planting in gardens, flowerbeds and decorative pots, it prefers sun or semi-shade positions. Hardy down to -22 °C.
