TRIO Base

Fifteen centimeters that transform the planter’s overall presence. The original LECHUZA TRIO Base lifts the TRIO Cottage off the floor and gives it a more complete, architectural line, without hiding its clean elongated silhouette. It is the system’s dedicated fixed pedestal — not a general-purpose base and not a wheeled platform.

The base must have the same nominal size as the planter: TRIO 30 with Base 30 and TRIO 40 with Base 40.

Special design for TRIO

Two sections, one stable pedestal

The base is delivered in two shaped parts. You align them, secure the central connector, and then place the compatible TRIO on top. The frame follows the correct dimensions of the planter and raises it exactly 15 cm.

The 30 version has outer dimensions of 98 × 30 × 15 cm.
The 40 version has outer dimensions of 127 × 38 × 15 cm.
The two parts join and lock in the center.
The base is stable and has no wheels.

Assembly in four steps

The series follows the official LECHUZA guideline for the 30 and 40 bases.

01 · Align the sections

Place the two parts with the legs facing upward and bring together the central guides.

02 · Join the base

Push the parts together until they meet correctly in the center.

03 · Secure the joint

Lock the central connector as shown in the official instructions.

04 · Place the TRIO

Turn the base, place it on a flat surface, and lower a planter of the same size on top.

Fully assemble the base, confirm that the central connector is locked, and choose a stable, level spot. The base does not have wheels; decide on the final position before placing a heavy, planted TRIO on top.

Which base should I choose for my TRIO Cottage?

Choose the same nominal size as the planter: TRIO Base 30 for TRIO Cottage 30 and TRIO Base 40 for TRIO Cottage 40. The two versions are not interchangeable.

What are the dimensions and how much height does it add?

The TRIO Base 30 has dimensions of 98 × 30 × 15 cm and the TRIO Base 40 has dimensions of 127 × 38 × 15 cm. Both raise the compatible planter by 15 cm, with a final height of 49.5 cm for the TRIO Cottage 30 and 59 cm for the TRIO Cottage 40.

Does the TRIO base have wheels?

No. It is a stable lifting pedestal and does not have wheels. It does not turn the planted TRIO into a mobile unit.

How is the base assembled?

The base consists of two parts. You place them with the legs facing up, align and join the central rails, secure the connector, and then turn the base to place the planter of the same size on top.

Are TRIO Cottage or TRIO Trellis included?

No. This package contains only the base in the selected size. The TRIO Cottage and the TRIO Trellis are separate products and are sold separately.

Can I use Base and Support together?

Yes. The complete combination TRIO Cottage + TRIO Base + TRIO Trellis is compatible, provided all three components have the same nominal size. The Support secures to the planter, not to the base.

With specially designed boxes, we ensure that the plants will reach you intact, no matter what they encounter on the way!

All plants in 3L pots or larger are placed in individual boxes that secure the plant at the base of the pot, preventing it from tipping over.

The cardboard used for the boxes is specially made to provide resistance to potential impacts during transport.
