The CUBETO Stone turns the low bowl planter into a contemporary decorative feature with a natural, textured stone look. Its wide, round profile showcases mixed plantings, seasonal flowers and succulent arrangements without concealing their shape, while the calm silhouette works equally well on a table, at an entrance, on a terrace or in a garden. The removable plant liner simplifies planting and seasonal changes, while the genuine LECHUZA self-watering system provides controlled watering from the reservoir.

LECHUZA Classic System
Water is stored below. The roots draw up what they need.
The supplied LECHUZA-PON spreads over the separating base and creates the zone that transfers moisture to the roots. Once the initial rooting period is complete, the reservoir is filled via the special filling shaft, and the water-level indicator shows when the water reaches MAX or MIN.
The plant liner is removable, making it easier to prepare or change the arrangement.
For the first few weeks, water from above, as in a conventional planter.
After rooting, fill the water reservoir from the filling shaft up to the MAX mark.
In an uncovered outdoor area, remove the drainage plug so that excess rainwater can escape.

01
Low, open composition
The wide bowl shape allows the plants to take center stage and provides space for creative combinations of different textures and colors.
02
Indicator-guided watering
The water reservoir and the MIN/MAX indicator reduce unnecessary repetitions and clearly show you when a check is needed.
03
Natural look, contemporary durability
The textured surface resembles stone, while the high-quality plastic remains lightweight, resistant to breaking, and suitable for indoor or outdoor use.
From planting to self-watering in four steps
The correct start helps the roots fully utilize the Classic System.
01 · Prepare the base
Place the separation base and spread the provided LECHUZA-PON as a moisture transfer layer.
02 · Set up the composition
Add suitable substrate and plant in the removable plant liner, leaving the space each plant needs to grow.
03 · Water from above
In the initial rooting period, water the substrate from above, so that the roots grow towards the moisture zone.
04 · Activate the water reservoir
When the plant starts to draw water, fill through the filling shaft and use the MIN/MAX indicator for the next cycle.
The Stone difference
The texture of stone, with the practicality of LECHUZA
The embossed surface delivers the natural look of stone in a durable and lightweight plastic body. Thus, the CUBETO acquires the visual weight of a stone basin without the corresponding actual weight, while the removable plant liner keeps planting and composition changes simple.
For hot summer weather
The indicator helps — checking is still necessary
The reservoir reduces the frequency of watering, but consumption changes with sun, wind, and planting density. During heat waves or on very exposed balconies, check the indicator and substrate moisture daily.
Where it fits
01On a table, low piece of furniture, or console as a central plant arrangement.
02At an entrance, step, low wall, or wide windowsill with a stable, flat surface.
03On a terrace, patio or in the garden, with the drain plug removed whenever the planter is exposed to rain.
What can you plant
01Seasonal flowering plants, small grasses, and arrangements with different colors but compatible needs.
02Succulents and cacti, with the appropriate substrate and more careful use of the water reservoir.
03Small aromatic or compact plants, without exceeding the recommended height of 30 or 40 cm.
Which size fits your composition?
The 40 offers more than twice the usable plant volume compared to the 30.

Before using it outdoors
In an uncovered location, remove the drain plug from the base so excess rainwater can drain away and the roots are protected from continuous overfilling. Always place the planter on a stable, level surface that can support its total weight when planted and filled with water.
Frequently asked questions
What are the differences between the 30 and 40 sizes?
The CUBETO Stone 30 has dimensions Ø30 × 13.5 cm, a water reservoir of 1.6 L, plant volume 4.5 L, and maximum plant height 30 cm. The 40 model has dimensions Ø40 × 18.3 cm, water reservoir 3 L, plant volume 11.5 L, and maximum plant height 40 cm.
What does the All-in-One Set include?
It includes the outer CUBETO Stone, the removable plant liner, the separating base, the filling shaft, the water-level indicator, and LECHUZA-PON for the base layer. Plants and additional substrate are not included.
Is the inner plant liner removable?
Yes. The plant liner is removed from the outer planter, so that you can prepare the planting or change the seasonal arrangement more comfortably.
Do I fill the reservoir immediately after planting?
For the first few weeks, water from above, until the roots reach the moisture zone. Then you can transition to reservoir watering: fill it about halfway and observe if the level drops in the following days. When the plant starts drawing water, use the filling shaft and the MAX indicator normally.
When do I refill the reservoir?
When the indicator reaches MIN, allow the appropriate dry phase for your plants and then fill up to MAX. Its duration depends on the type, location, temperature, and wind. On very hot days, check the indicator and the substrate moisture daily.
Is it suitable for outdoor use and rain?
Yes. For use in an uncovered outdoor area, remove the drain plug from the base so excess rainwater can drain away, reducing the risk of waterlogging.
Which plants suit its low form?
It is suitable for seasonal flowering plants, small bulbous plants, compact herbs, and succulent arrangements. Plants with similar light and water requirements should be combined, and the maximum recommended height of 30 cm for the CUBETO 30 or 40 cm for the CUBETO 40 should not be exceeded.
