Alstroemeria Inticancha® 'White Pink Blush' is the “elegant” bicolour of the series: white flowers with a striking pink blush that add brightness and character to any planting. With compact growth and generous flowering from spring into autumn (Mar–Oct), it fills pots, patios and borders with a look that is fresh, clean and very easy to combine. It’s one of those varieties that feels “premium” without being over the top — perfect when you want colour, but in a more classy tone.
⭐ What makes the Inticancha® series special:
Inticancha® are “patio” alstroemerias with compact growth and continuous flowering from spring through autumn. Strong stems keep the flowers upright and travel well, while the Sun Series breeding makes them more heat-tolerant than many “fussier” varieties — ideal for balconies, terraces and bright borders.
Choose a spot with sun or bright partial shade. In very hot locations, a touch of afternoon shade helps the blooms stay fresher for longer. Use a light, free-draining mix so the rhizome can develop properly without sitting in permanent moisture. It shines on patios, but also performs beautifully in the ground.
Design goal: a bright bicolour focal point that blends easily without feeling busy.
Taxonomic background: The genus Alstroemeria (family Alstroemeriaceae) has been heavily used in breeding for hybrids with extended blooming, stable colours and strong performance in containers. Patio series are specifically selected for compact habit and tidy presentation.
Habitat & distribution: Wild species come from South America. Their rhizomatous growth allows them to store energy and fuel repeated flushes of flowering over the season.
Naming & series: The Inticancha® line is a patio series (Mar–Oct) with compact growth. 'White Pink Blush' was selected for its luminous bicolour look: a white base with pink blush, giving a refined, easy-to-combine effect.
Selection & propagation: In production data it appears as tesblushin (breeder’s line). It is propagated vegetatively (division of rhizomes / professional nursery propagation) so that the bicolour pattern, compact habit and flowering performance remain stable.

Full sun or bright partial shade. In very hot positions, a little afternoon shade helps keep the flowers looking fresher.
Water when the top layer of mix dries slightly, keeping it evenly moist but never constantly soaked. Always empty any excess from saucers or cachepots.
Repot into a container around 17–21 cm, ideally when active growth starts. Plant one per pot, centred, and cover the rhizome lightly without over-compacting the mix.
In cold weather, the top growth may reduce or disappear and return from the rhizome in spring. In pots, protect the root zone from prolonged frost and excessive winter wet.
