'Sango-Kaku' is a variety that, with its autumn colours and beautiful coral shoots, never goes unnoticed. Its leaves open in spring in pinkish-yellow colors, mature in summer to pale green and turn a pale yellow in autumn before falling off. As they fall they reveal the trunk and branches in unique coral-red hues that add a much-needed touch of color to the Winter landscape.
