Η Kalanchoe eriophylla, κοινώς γνωστή ως "fluffy Kalanchoe", είναι μια νάνα ποικιλία που χαρακτηρίζεται από σαρκώδη λαμπερά πράσινα φύλλα, εξ ολοκλήρου καλυμμένα με λεπτό χνούδι, που του δίνει μια όμορφη ασημί-λευκή όψη.

Την άνοιξη, ανθίζει με μικρά, όμορφα, ροζ άνθη.

Είναι εξαιρετικό φυτό και για εσωτερικού χώρου, αφού ανέχεται καλά την ξηρή ατμόσφαιρα, που συνήθως συναντάμε στα σπίτια.

Kalanchoe eriophylla, commonly known as "fluffy Kalanchoe", is a dwarf succulent plant.

It is characterized by its fleshy bright green leaves, entirely covered with a thin down (hence the name "fluffy"), that gives it a beautiful silvery-white look.

In spring, it blooms with small, beautiful, pale pink flowers.

It is an excellent houseplant, since it tolerates well the dry atmosphere, that is usually found in houses.

Care

• It likes very bright places, however, avoid direct sunlight during the hottest hours of the day.
• It is preferable to keep it at mild temperatures and never below 8 °C, for this reason it is recommended to shelter it during the winter period.
• Water moderately in spring and summer but only when the soil is completely dry and suspend it completely in winter.
• The best soil is a well-draining one, even better if further enriched with inert materials such as pumice, sand or lapilli.
• They do not need frequent fertilization, it is sufficient to dilute the fertilizer with watering once a year.
