English
It is a small cactus, also known as Parodia werneri.
The globular stem can start branching from the base and become clustered over time. It has a dark green color, very particular, due to its sparkle, which stands out even more with the white areoles.
It has small, thin white spider-shaped spines. Flowering occurs in late spring and produces bright purple or light yellow funnel-shaped flowers.

Care
- It likes very bright locations, but it can also stand direct sunlight in the hottest hours of the day.
- It prefers rather mild temperatures, however it still survives even at temperatures close to freezing if the soil is dry.
- Water moderately, only when the soil is completely dry. It is enough to water the plant once a week in spring and summer, once a month in autumn and to suspend watering completely in winter.
- The best soil is a well draining one, for example formed by a mixture of peat and pumice so that the water does not stagnate.
- They do not need frequent fertilization, it is sufficient to dilute the fertilizer with watering once a year.
