Μια ποικιλία με εξαιρετικούς σκούρους χρωματισμούς φυλλώματος και φωτεινά ροζ άνθη που ξεκινούν από τα τέλη του Χειμώνα και διατηρούνται για μεγάλο διάστημα πάνω στο φυτό και δημιουργούν μια υπέροχη αντίθεση με το φύλλωμα. 

Η ανθοφορία είναι πολύ έντονη και σχεδόν καλύπτει τα φύλλα του φυτού.

Έχει σφαιρική ανάπτυξη και προσδίδει υπέροχες χρωματικές αντιθέσεις είτε σε κήπους είτε σε διακοσμητικές γλάστρες.

Μέγιστο ύψος 1-15μ. Ανθεκτικό έως -5 to -10°C.

Such a fascinating and unusual colour combination, Loropetalum Black Pearl creates a head-turning spectacle, as fragrant, tassel-shaped brightly coloured flowers appear against dark foliage with a purple sheen.

Fresh new heart-shaped growth appears in late autumn, prior to the arrival of the fluffy, scented, cerise flowers which almost cover the greenery throughout the winter and spring.

The contrast against the dark foliage is quite breath taking.

Dense compact foliage means Loropetalum Black Pearl makes a wonderful windbreak, low screen or hedge, and can even be trained and shaped up a wall, trellis or obelisk.

Loropetalum prefer to be gown in fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil in sun or part shade. Growing to a height and spread of approximately 1-1.5m,
