Μια πολύ ιδιαίτερη ποικιλία σέντουμ με μακριά, χυμώδη φύλλα.

Σχηματίζει συμπαγή μορφή με υπέροχη κρεμοκλαδή ανάπτυξη. Το κίτρινο-πράσινο χρώμα των φύλλων ενισχύεται με πορτοκαλί χρώμα στα άκρα ειδικά όταν ο καιρός είναι κρύος.

Επιπρόσθετα πορτοκαλί καμπανοειδή άνθη εμφανίζονται στις άκρες των βλαστών την Άνοιξη και το Καλοκαίρι.

Χάρη στα χυμώδη φύλλα του που αποθηκεύουν νερό, είναι πολύ ανθεκτικό στη ξηρασία και προτιμά την απευθείας έκθεση στον ήλιο.  

Ιδανική επιλογή για φυτό ελάχιστης συντήρησης.

Ornamental succulent plant, which develops in height and then falls back to create wonderful green cascades, perfect for adorning shelves or hanging pots.

Its stems can reach up to one meter in length and are completely hidden by the fleshy cylindrical and tapered leaves.

The waxy substance that covers the entire skin gives this succulent a spectacular opaque green shade, sometimes almost white, which generates a pleasant contrast with clusters of small star-shaped flowers with very bright colors between pink and bright red.

With a Sedum morganianum, any room will look better!

Care

• Most of the species prefer very bright places, however preferably sheltered from direct sunlight.
• The lowest temperatures they resist vary a lot: some species withstand the tempretures down to 10 °C, others can resist the temperatures even down to -10 °C!
• Water moderately only when the soil is completely dry. In winter, suspend watering. When placed outdoors, many species survive very well with only rainwater.
• A suitable soil for succulents is fine, they do not require special requires (many species even grow in the cracks between the walls).
• They do not need frequent fertilization, it is sufficient to dilute the fertilizer with watering once a year.
