Easycrisp® Lady Sun is the Golden Delicious among gooseberries, light yellow, juicy and very sweet.

The berries are brightly veined and their skin is remarkably soft; very pleasant for eating fresh. Like all Easycrisp® varieties,

'Lady Sun' shines with pronounced tolerance to mildew, practical spinelessness and an upright, vigorous growth habit. The yield is also regular and high.

Gooseberries are healthy
The most important ingredients are vitamin C (150g cover the daily requirement). B vitamins, silicic acid, potassium, magnesium, pectin, fructose, fruit acids, gooseberries are rich in fiber and stimulate intestinal activity. Gooseberries promote the healthy growth of hair and nails and ensure strong teeth and bones. Thanks to the strengthening of the vessel walls, gooseberries are also said to have an effect against varicose veins. They also stimulate digestion, can relieve chronic constipation and help reduce cholesterol.
