This Sunny Star has fewer thorns than other Pyracantha and is evergreen.
Sunny Star blooms in June with white flowers. In July, a mass of large, apple green berries appears that colors to sunny yellow and orange.
Sunny Star gives flower and fruit on 2 year old wood. Plant Sunny Star in a fertile, well-drained soil.
Not sensitive to Phytophtera ramorum and very hardy to -30 ºC.
