Aronia × prunifolia 'Viking' - Αρόνια

Παράγει μαύρους καρπούς που περιέχουν βιταμίνη C και άλλα σημαντικά μικροστοιχεία όπως σίδηρο και ιώδιο. Μπορούν να καταναλωθούν φρέσκοι, σε φρουτοσαλάτες, χυμούς ή να αποξηραθούν.

Οι καρποί μπορούν να συλλεχθούν σταδιακά από Σεπτέμβριο μέχρι Οκτώβριο καθώς παραμένουν πάνω στο φυτό χωρίς να σαπίσουν για μεγάλο χρονικό διάστημα.
