Μία από τις πιο όμορφες, ποικιλίες με συμπαγείς ροζέτες και μέγιστο ύψος και διάμετρο 30εκ.

Μικρού μεγέθους παχύφυτο που όμως παράγει πολλά νέα φυτά (offsets). Κάθε ένα από αυτά είναι διαφορετικό από τα υπόλοιπα.

Σε αντίθεση με τα άλλα παχύφυτα, αναπτύσσεται το Χειμώνα και διαχειμάζει το Καλοκαίρι. Η νέα βλάστηση ξεκινά από το κέντρο της ροζέτας. Καθώς η ροζέτα μεγαλώνει, τα εξωτερικά φύλλα αρχίζουν να πέφτουν, κάνοντας έτσι να φανεί ο βλαστός που συγκρατεί τη ροζέτα.

Αν κάποιος δεν επιθυμεί το γυμνό αυτό βλαστό, μπορεί να τον κόψει 2-5εκ κάτω από το τελευταίο φύλλο και να τον φυτεύσει σε νέα γλάστρα.

Χρειάζεται περισσότερο πότισμα από τα άλλα παχύφυτα, καθώς έχει σχετικά μικρό και ρηχό ριζικό σύστημα.

Succulent plant that you can find all over for its pleasant appearance, as well as for its extreme resilience.

It has a woody and slender stem, which branches off abundantly, with wonderful compact rosettes.

The leaves are fleshy and pointed, compact and diamond-like in shape. Along the edges of the foliage it is not uncommon to find microscopic curved hairs that often distinguish a large part of the genus Aeonium.

Care

• It requires a lot of light all year long, however avoid direct sunlight especially during the hottest hours of the day.
• It is preferable to keep it at mild temperatures or over, but never below 5 °C, for this reason it is recommended to shelter it during the winter period.
• Water moderately but only when the soil is completely dry. Do so once every two weeks in spring and summer, reduce it to once every two months in autumn and winter.
• A well-draining soil is an optimal solution, even better if further enriched with inert materials such as pumice, sand or lapilli.
• They do not need frequent fertilization, it is sufficient to dilute the fertilizer with watering once a year.
