Υψηλής διακοσμητικής αξίας, συλλεκτική ποικιλία αλόης με χαρακτηριστικά οδοντωτά φύλλα. Πολύ εύκολη στη συντήρησή της, κατάλληλη για εσωτερικούς και εξωτερικούς χώρους. Απαιτεί λίγο πότισμα.

Φροντίδα 

Φως: Προτιμά μέτριο προς έντονο φωτισμό σε εσωτερικούς χώρους και άμεσο ηλιακό φως ή ημισκιά σε εξωτερικούς χώρους. Το χρώμα των φύλλων είναι πιο έντονο σε συνθήκες πλήρης ηλιοφάνειας.

Πότισμα: Ανθεκτικό στην ξηρασία, χρειάζεται λίγο πότισμα και μόνο κατά την περίοδο ανάπτυξης. Ανέχεται πολύ καλά τις χειμερινές βροχές.

Θερμοκρασία: Ιδανική θερμοκρασία 12-25 °C . Ανέχεται και χαμηλότερες θερμοκρασίες (-7°C).

Λίπανση: Αραιή δόση λιπάσματος  2-3 φορές κατά την περίοδο ανάπτυξης.

Also known as “Aloe dentata” due to its serrated teeth that cover the edges of the leaves.

The Aloe aculeata 'Jurassic Dragon' is an attractive succulent plant that, over time, tends to cluster at the base, forming new seedlings.

This bluish-green succulent grows in the shape of a rosette, the flattened leaves develop in height curving towards the center.

They are fleshy and long, covered with teeth that are initially of a creamy white color but tend to take on spectacular bright pink or orange tones over time.

It is a plant very easy to grow, so it is also ideal for beginners.

Care

• It requires a full sun exposure, even if it can stand a partial shade one only if it receives plenty of light all year around.
• It prefers rather mild temperatures, however it survives even in temperatures close to freezing if the soil is dry.
• Water moderately but only when the soil is completely dry. Once every two weeks in spring and summer and once every two months in autumn and winter.
• A well-draining soil is an optimal solution, even better if further enriched with inert materials such as pumice, sand or lapilli.
• They do not need frequent fertilization, it is sufficient to dilute the fertilizer with watering once a year.
